This sketch imagines a humorous role swap between cows and humans. As personified cows go about their day smoking cigarettes, chewing gum, and falling asleep to the TV in bed with a delicious snack, a herd of humans mill about within the confines of a fence. While extremely ridiculous, the role reversal invites reflection on the value of the life of a cow, a being whose life is wholly determined by what’s best for human consumption and commodification, often regardless of pain, sickness, fear, and environmental consequences.
